Wow how good does this outdoor area look. It was transformed. We used colour bond Matt Standing seam. The BBQ area was concrete rendered and lined with spotted gum lining boards for an awesome finish. Then fitted with built in BBQ and outdoor fridge. After completing a bathroom and Laundry renovation for this lovely couple in Inverloch we were asked to complete a new verandah, deck and carport to compliment the property. Plans were drawn up and off we went. This was not just a simple add on! We cut the verandah into the existing roof line and added a new carport to the side of the building. What a great outcome! A little rebuild we did on a deck for a client in Venus Bay. Came up a treat, much more usable now. Nice and clean also a lot safer than the old one. Finished with Modwood and stainless steel wire. This client required a little more in their outdoor area as well as a little bit of a wind break. After some discussion we suggested some ideas and finished on a merbau seating area with a great fire pit, planter box to the side thus creating the wind break. We finished it with render and painted the same as the existing. After completing we added an exposed aggregate pathway with drainage to the back side.
Are you thinking about a new deck for summer! Have a look here at this recently completed deck in Inverloch. We used 138mm Silvertop Ash to create this amazing elevated deck looking out onto the Inlet.
How is this great entertaining area? This house was just finished when we tiled under the veranda with timber look tiles. Once this was completed, we went on to create an amazing space outside. Silver gum Mod wood was used for the decking and cypress pine posts these products will last many years with very little maintenance. The area was set down to ground level to match the tiling and give a nice line into the rear yard.
We have come to the end of another great project, what a transformation. This deck was old and tired. Once the pool was completed it was out of place. We demolished the old deck and totally rebuilt it, at the same time extending and making it more usable. The client in Inverloch choose 90 x 22 Silver top Ash. This is a great timber for decks and is an Australian hardwood. One benefit of this timber choice is that it does not leech the unsightly red tannins that you get from Merbau. We screwed the timber down with stainless screws. Once complete we have oiled it with 2 coats of Intergrain Natural timber oil. We prefer natural oils as they look great and are easy to re-apply. If you need a new deck or pool fence ready for summer give us a call. We love a challenge, and here the Andymann team was asked to build a new deck between two existing decks both at different levels. The closest timber match was treated pine to blend with the existing decking. We added a step the full length of the deck to give it that all important street appeal.
Wow! The Andymann has been busy here. Trevor and Michelle from Inverloch first got in touch with us because they were struggling to find someone to carry out the work for them, too many people looked, promised and never returned.
