After some planning and discussions with the client we drafted some drawings to form the basis of this little renovation. Taking in a new bathroom, new aluminum double glazed windows, demolishing an existing steel garage to enable the installation of new water tanks then rebuilding on a new slab in keeping with the existing residence with laundry. The existing residence had the asbestos removed from inside the bathroom, sunroom and exterior wall which was re-clad in Axon smooth once the windows were installed. The existing bathroom and toilet have been separated remodeled with striking tiles, spotted gum vanity, mirror, and black tapware. A new deck was added with bluestone paving pathways, veggie boxes and retaining walls to finish off after the removal of the asbestos outbuilding. We were tasked with creating a relaxing outdoor space. The clients were amazed when we completed this spa installation for them. A relaxation center with a holiday feel. We started by removing the existing gravel pathway and replaced it with exposed aggregate concrete to match the existing with path lighting installed. The pergola was constructed along with the bamboo fence. Once complete the spa was installed then glass pool fence to finish off. See below for more.
The outdoor area here in Wattlebank was not quite getting the use that it could have due to wind. After some discussion with the clients, the solution was to close off the area with windows. We used a commercial frame with fixed glass. We also added a bifold servery to one end with a Hardwood bar. In addition to these we fitted a full outdoor entertaining kitchen and appliances including commercial rangehood to remove any BBQ fumes. To finish, the area was tiled with 450x450 tiles. Check out the video below After completing a bathroom and Laundry renovation for this lovely couple in Inverloch we were asked to complete a new verandah, deck and carport to compliment the property. Plans were drawn up and off we went. This was not just a simple add on! We cut the verandah into the existing roof line and added a new carport to the side of the building. What a great outcome! This client required a little more in their outdoor area as well as a little bit of a wind break. After some discussion we suggested some ideas and finished on a merbau seating area with a great fire pit, planter box to the side thus creating the wind break. We finished it with render and painted the same as the existing. After completing we added an exposed aggregate pathway with drainage to the back side.
Here we have another example of the best in maintenance free decking. We built this deck at this recently completed Inverloch property. The owner wanted no fuss, no maintenance. We have used 88mm mod wood in Silver gum what a great finish. All screwed down with stainless steel screws. A great outdoor area to complement the home. No need to worry about staining the deck every year.
Brian and Nola had a very tired deck and a retaining wall that were in need of replacement. We started by removing the existing structure. A new retaining wall was built to smarten up the garden. The deck required a total rebuild.
We love a challenge, and here the Andymann team was asked to build a new deck between two existing decks both at different levels. The closest timber match was treated pine to blend with the existing decking. We added a step the full length of the deck to give it that all important street appeal.
Wow! The Andymann has been busy here. Trevor and Michelle from Inverloch first got in touch with us because they were struggling to find someone to carry out the work for them, too many people looked, promised and never returned.
